A few questions with $88 730

after my most recent cam swap, the thing is horribly rich at idle (plenty rich all around but especially at idle). tuner pro rt show " idle condition met" "false". what conditions have to met for that? is vacuum a large part of that? I'm sure that's part of my idling rich problem, the low vacuum. It only pulls about 5" at idle. How should I try to go about fixing that issue?
also, what conditions have to be met for the launch mode? Thanks!

To be in idle there is a TPS% and MPH qualifier. The TPS% usually needs to be below 1.5%, and the MPH below 14.

That will set the 'idle conditions met' bit. Maybe double check the ADS file. The idle status bit is in RAM $2A and is bit 7.

For the rich, lower the VE table.

There is a post on the $88 launch mode. Use 'launch' and then my username in a search, it should be found.

RBob.

Awesome, thanks for the help! I'll do a search for that post, too!

Edit: I forgot about that post. Its been a while since I've done anything with the tuning so I'm halfway starting over on what means what and all of that kind of stuff.
