where to get started

where can i get prom burning equipment? what do i need? i would like to get started in it but have no idea where to begin. thanks for the help

but what i meant to put and did put on my other post is can i get used stuff cheaper and if so where?

Just watch the classifieds section. A while ago there was a pocket programmer for sale on there, but it's doubtful that your going to find this stuff used cause anyone who has it keeps it. It doesn't cost that much anyway, if you use a flash eprom you can forget the eraser, although it is still handy to have.
