SR vs MR, lets hear both sides

I posted this yesterday but it did not show, something had a hickup.

As a continuation/deviation of the post about the "MR & giving up" (glad he did not, btw), I would like to hear both sides of this issue. this is not only to include why you chose the setup that you did but the application that you are using it in (Drag/street/autoX). as Grumpy alluded to, this is very application specific (The Cubes), so give us your thoughts, AND specs (CI, CAM, Exh, Heads, RPM). & now for the hard part performance. most of us can relate to 1/4 mile times & mph, so how about that?

I am sure that we all have our opinion, & I dont want to encourage bashing, but I would like to know why we picked what we did.

thanks gents

Nothing had a hiccup. I deleted it. Not a DIY PROM burning subject. If we were discussing tuning issues related to MR vs. SR then that would be a different story. However, this MR vs SR subject has been beat to death on the other forums. There are so many posts on the other forums concerning this subject.
