Help, running lean on cruise, rich on WOT

How do you program a chip (I've been burning a few chip already) to solve a lean condition while I am cruising and a rich condition at WOT??????

My XP240 scanner is giving me 158 for the block learn cell during cruising around stuff.
However, at WOT conditions, the O2 sensor is in the low to mid 900 mV, which is rich as far as I understand.

What can I program on my next chip in order to richen the mixture at cruise and lean out the WOT mixture.

My fuel pressure regulator is now set at 38psi, I dont want to go any lower.

Hey Doc,
How is it going, long time no talk.
I had some similar problems. Your still running the MAF setup huh?
I said screw it and went to Speed Density. Much more work to tune but definatly much more refined and alot more to change.

If your blm's are at 158 that is extremely lean. Get some very steady data, meaning , do a long cruise at the same throttle position and speed/load, then change a very small things at a time. Forget looking at the O2, it is a small sometimes useful tool, maybe for WOT it is good.. but thats about it.

Hey. leirch,

I'm so fustrated with both of my Camaros.

I have another post on the drivetrain topic concerning my '87, check that out, please.

We should get together some time.

This Tuesday (tomorrow), I'm thinking of running at Dragway 42 with my current setup. And then, remain the Art Carr TC and reinstall the stock TC. But that is alot of work.

Yes, We could meet sometime, that would be cool. Although I haven't had much time with tuning. I've been tuning a motor on MAF and then to a decent/pretty well running SD system all the while running on 7 cylinders!...
So I don't know what a "good" calibration is like with this nice miss all of the time.

I read your article on transmission/drivetrain. I think RB has the correct idea. Let us know if it fixed it?
This post isn't going to last very long on the PROM board..
