mini ram running lean

Got my auto x-ray scanner.tried it out and here are some of the results
02sensor 156 mvolts (tad bit lean correct)

Block learn 116 (this also indicating lean correct)

Integrotor 107 rich or lean?

rich/lean flag lean

shows no 0 knock snsor.0 knock retard

spark advance 45.8

would like to get rid of lean condition. my inital timing 6d max spark adv is 41.8 injector flow rate 25.8 on 24#svo and this is with the pumpshot increased 20% as suggested earlier to help clear up backfirig through intake.which did seem to help that but has know moved to poping out he exh.I' still new to all of this equipment so please take it easy on me.This is a SD car Ecm8_d bin is 90L98man8d.the only cahnge I have made in the prom in the inj flow, pumpshot, cyl, vol.check sig for other specs thank for any help

When the BLM and INT are reading less than 128, the ECM is pulling fuel out. IE you are running too rich.

Ignore the O2 volts, INT and BLM tell you how close your part throttle fueling is.

Also, do not pay too much attention to the "Rich/Lean Flag". I have noticed that I will get it (the Rich/Lean Flag) switching back and forth between the two, even when my BLM/INT indicates an overall rich (or lean) situation.

The only time I have noticed the switch to remain constant in one state (e.g. lean) is when I am in Highway Mode and the AF Ratio has been commanded to be leaner than 14.7:1. I would have to review previous "captures" to see if the ECM constantly displays "rich" if you go into PE Mode. I have noticed many times that when the ECM goes into "Open Loop", like in deceleration down a long grade, that the ECM will display the LAST VALUES for many of the readings just prior to going into Open Loop.

Well I wouldn't say ignore the O2 volts completely. It is one of the inputs that the ECM uses to calculate the Block Learn and Integrator. The problem is the O2 is often cycling too fast for the scanning software to be accurate. But if his O2 is just sitting at 152mv at all times, he either has a dead O2 or it is a very strong indication that he is indeed very lean.

Which brings me to this question; are those figures from WOT of just random captures?

If they are from WOT, I think the O2 can be a useful tool in tuning. I am no expert, but I think that when going to WOT the O2 will give fairly accurate readings as to where the AF ratio is at.

The oem O2 sensors are just switches, the just report rich or lean, trying to read more into them then that is like trying to tell your future by reading tea leaves.
Just moving mine changed the cruise voltage 30 millivolts. I have a lean cruise mode, and my ecm goes to a commanded BL in cruise. So that it should be relatively a constant AFR and PW (for a given situation). The only way to get more then rich or lean from one is using a Wideband O2 sensor.
If you search the DIY-EFI.org archives there is a ton of info., about O2 sensors. Including patent and SAE paper references.

well if WOT means just that then no.the motor hasn't even hardly been over 4ooo rpms.(That doesn't really determine WOT does it that has something to do with PE mode huh)I forgot to mention that the plugs are spotless. No deposits of any kind, they are clean slight grayish look to them close to what they look like out of the box they only have 14miles on them. They are for sure not a tanish color.which I always thought they should look like from what I have ever read or saw pics of.BTW this is fresh motor if that matters. my a/f gauge was reading more on the rich side most of the time.Untill I left off the gas then would go over to lean. But by the sounds of everthing I'm reading all that gauge is good for is the pretty lites it displays
