after reading articles...I still need some help

so I have burned 15 or so chips today....I have something that I like so far.....I have read a ton of articles on the problem I am facing and the problem is(the stumble plus.....my blm/int at idle is 144/128....just into the gas a little I end up with a perfect 128/128.....I need a little clarification on what counts relate to in the maf tables of tuner cat....I understand that @ a givin count x amount of fuel is given.....so lets say at idle I have a maf of 7g/s and blm 144.....doing the math I need to make a change to about 7.875 for the maf g/s.....but how do I know what count that is????
Also should/could I try and lower the injector constant a little??? riching the entire fuel curve???

I think some of the problems above are maybe due to open/closed loop ( after reading articles last night I need to verify this is happening with the scanner)

Ps. T-stats…the articles I have read are two sided…..what is the real answer……160 or 190 stat????? I have a 160…this could be a problem getting me into close loop.

and adjust the values in the 1st MAF table accordingly. Find the value(s) closest to 7 g/s and bump it up by 12.5% (just like you did with the 7 g/s). I'd leave your injector constant alone if the BLM's in other BLM cells are OK.

The temperature variable for going into closed loop is usually around in the low 100's for 350TPI engines, so I doubt you're not going into closed loop or going back and forth. If your O2 sensor is old and /or not very responsive, then that could be a problem at idle, but if your BLM is still being updated at idle and the O2 counts are still increasing at a decent pace, then it should be OK. I've been running a 160-degree 'stat since I bought my IROC 6 years ago with no problems at all. Keep in mind that the coolant won't actually stay at 160 degrees, usually hanging around 165-170 degrees with a cold radiator and fans running, even higher if it's hotter outside.
