Problem with EASE

I got a laptop yesterday and ran EASE for the first time, hooked up and ran no problems. So today I was going to record a run and I could not get it to connect. I followed the institutions to the letter but there is no communication between the laptop and the car. Anybody have this problem before. I need a loop back tester to check out com 1, but as it’s Sunday night I am out of luck. Anythig I could check??

Dose anybody know what the port settings should be for com 1 ??

I'm not sure what vehicle you have. I just purchased Ease and had a problem connecting to a 7747. I seems that even though the 7747 was out of a light duty emissions pickup it needed the signal set for the heavy duty emissions. Give Susan at Ease a call. She was very helpful in helping solve my problems. Most of them had to do with Windows NT. NT stinks!!!!
