just popped in the ARAP

I just threw in the ARAP to my 86 MAF TPI
the 9th is disconnected

on start up it take a few seconds or even a couple tries to start it

it definently woke my car up at WOT still have to do a scan and see where it sits

but has any one experienced the hard start and rough idle?

oh I gues I should add I modified the bin to lower fan temps a bit and changed it for a manual tranny no VATS and lowered the rpm limit and turned all TCC stuff to zero
other than that I havent done any thing to it

Play with the Spark Advance. It may be a bit high at idle. Do have your scan tool running while cranking.

You need to get the FI sizing dialed in to get a nice easy start on ARAP. Also make sure your cold-start injector is disconnected.

Good point Craig. I have found that it is best to play with the Injector Constant a bit and not just use its "rated" value.
