Diagnostic connetor not working ?

Diagnostic connetor not working ?
I built 8192/160 baud diagnostic cable and I assume it works. Here is the problem when i connect it to the ALDL connector and run the software (Craig Moates version 8.1) it wont get the 63 byte packet it gets a 77 byte packet. Can someone tell me what they think the problem may be.

Brad: You should also bring up that we got various byte packets. But none were 63. On said "7C" , etc, etc.
