What definition file
What definition file
I am new to this burn your own chip thing. Just got my Flash N Burn from Moates. I have read the bin from several memcals. A stock 86 Corvette, a hypertech for 86 Vette, a PCMforless for 86 Vette. How do I tell what mask or def file to use in TurnerProRT? I want to be able to scan at the higher baud rate.
I am reading my butt off and trying to learn this stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Congrats and welcome. There's that initial "hump", but it will all come together fairly quickly. And, no matter how long you've been doing it, there is always going to be something new you learn.
I will assume you are using MAF TPI.
1986 - 32
1987&1988 - 32B
1989 - 6E
I prefer using the 6E for MAF TPI cars. Some will agree, others may not. I find the 6E better defined and there is a greater variety of stock bins to compare and test.
I also found it one of the easiest setups to tune. I did the tuning for a buddy who runs a solid roller cam 383 Miniram setup. He maxes the MAF out around 3,600 rpm and his engine makes power at 7,200 rpm. I did have to massage the lower MAF Scalar tables, but he is still able to run in closed loop.
