AIR injection?

AIR injection?
I have the Tuner Cat software and can't find the option to enable/disable the airpump operation. I am using the $32b def file for the 88tpi350.
I guess the reason is that there is no code stored or test for this operation. If this is true, I can take it off and use the shorter belt as described in the book for conversions.
Am I on the right track here?
Will I need to chage anything after taking out EGR functions?
