is it possible a scantool connected to the aldl port robb or corrupt the ecm data to the workings of the engine? i am running the Andrew K. Mattei datamaster cable which is not plugged into a 12v power supply. datamaster is the scantool.
the reason i am asking, the engine lays over if the tool is connect then the hesitation goes away when the chip is removed from the memcal and no scantool reconnected. don't understand what is happening.
