I've been digging into the various tables in the AF tdf-now I've got a question on it. In the ecm constants are several adjustments for enabling and disabling CARS. So what does "CARS" refer to???? Thanks to everyone for all the help-this is a fun hobby for me! And I can always justify more tools to my wife!

I can't say 100% but I believe that is for the "skip shift", as some call it.

 

Could you mean CAGS? Computer Aided Gear Selection

 

Nope it says "CARS". I'm using tunercat and this is for a ZR-1 Vette.

Just a guess (I don't have a ZR-1) but since it uses direct ignition, CARS may be the crank angle reference signal?
