What is the best way to get rid of knock count during startup? I have tried reducing the timing in the cells from 40kpa and less than 800 rpm. But it does not matter what I do. I must be missing something.
Also, would it be possible to add the knock count to a Dump Log? This would be handy while working on SA tables.

It is noise from the starter drive's teeth on the ring gear of the flexplate. You cannot get rid of it.Originally Posted by elkabong
