Ok i am at wits end. I have a hyperchip with a dip socket and i tried to burn a chip for it, but i get constant ses light, and wont let me check codes. Ive tried arap bin with 6e, and abwn with 6e. Both did the same thing. When i put stock memcal back in ecm it runs fine and it lets me run codes, but nothing stored. Only thing i changed from stock was vats flag!!!! I dont know whats up! 1987 350 tpi with HSR now 165ecm What do u guys think?

 

Offset on the chip correct? (try stacking it)
Checksum either updated or disabled with AA?
Chip in backwards?

I tryed using aa to disable it, that didnt work, chip was in correctly, but i am a noob and dont know what stacking is

 

The 6E mask is a 16KB BIN, which fits perfectly on a 128 Kb chip. If you used a 256Kb chip then the BIN needs to be doubled up (stacked), or burned into the top half of the chip. GM did this a lot.

Unless you get the SES blink at key-on, engine-off, the ECM is not running from the chip.
