I bought an LC1 Wideband about a week ago with a A/F guage also. My question is can i just splice into the old narrow band connection to give my Wideband its 12v source and ground also? I know one of the wires is for the data collection for the computer. Ive done searching and havnt really found any write ups on this installation. I know what wires go to the guage and how to set it up mostly. Just wondering if splicing into the old wires is enough to make it work properly. thanks.

Ideally, you should give it +12V, a clean ground tied to the ECM, and a signal wire. Youll probably not want to have it powered while the engine is cranking. My LM1 actually locks up if I leave it on while starting the motor.
