Re: Wavy VE tables 7747 w/EBL
Good to hear. As a matter of fact, I've had a small exhuast leak for some time now, pass side header. Always gives me false KR too. I've been avoiding taking out the header because it is a PITA
They were BN flowtech headers and the engine side flanges weren't even flat, I had to take a grinder to them to get them close. I'll be making turbo manifolds/headers this summer, that is why I am holding off. But I may just fix it to see if my VE tables look better.
BTW, I have been tweaking the BPC vs VAC tables and it has helped a great deal. I'll get some screen shots when I get a chance tomorrow.

Quote from Dom: Turns out I may have had a small exhaust leak.
late last summer i fixed a leak at the junction of the collector to the exhaust pipe. that is right where both my 02 sensors(NB + WB) reside in pipes(dual).
That was post install of EBL. Once the EBL was installed it appeared I could not get enough fuel into the main fuel table #2 right at 2200-2600 area at 50-60 map. that is just below the rpm the cam starts to come on. I ended up modifying the BPW to allow <95 in fuel table. now i wonder if my NB02 was seeing an ext leak? they WB showed around 14.7 at CL cruise. after tightening up the clooector to ext pipe sees the tune was affected. i did not connect the two events.
2nd quote from Dom: VE Learn was now taking out fuel in the low rpm/lo MAP sector where before it was constantly adding it in.
Yup! I wonder if that was my problem as well with VE learn day one adding so much fuel?

Ron,
The other symptom I was experiencing was popping in the exhaust. I thought I was having a problem with DFCO and DE and had those pretty well tightened down. After closing down the exhaust leaks, I may have a pop here or there but nothing like before.
