Changing XDF file

Hi,

I was sneaking around in the tunerpro software and came on to the conversion factor of the XDF items.

Am I right when I think that the value I enter in tunerpro, is converted by this factor and writen down the bin ?

Yes, TP converts the bin value into a value that means something to you.
For instance the Stoich constant is 445d in the bin.
Which doesn't do anything for you. But TP will make it display as 14.73.
Checkout the help section in TP.

Thank's.

I have the problem not getting my "EGR Temp On" @ 1B3 above 91.80 .
Can I solve this by changing the conversion factor ?

Or is it just the same,

"91.80 : 0.36 = 255"
and
"150 : 0.588235 = 255"

With 255 being the max value for the ECM, right ?

Am I wrong here ?

Re: Changing XDF file

Make the conversion factor a '1', then enter 0 as the temperature value. That will be 151 C for the ECM.
