i have an 89 maro rs with a 305 tbi. im purchasing a 350 cammed and carb'd and would like to swap that carb for a 350 tbi and beable to use all my tbi ecm stuff. is this possible? i was told i need a different chip? so what do i do just take one from another tbi 350 such as a truck or an old caprice?

New to this all and starting swap soon

well bro you need to start by finding out everything about that engine, what ecm you have, and read the stickies. Yes a caprice chip (if you have an 8746 ecm) will work a bit. for a cammed 350 your going to need larger injectors than stockers, but this is all covered in our massive stickies. just read over em and let me know if i can explain a few thigs better to you.
