i currently have everthing for data logging and prom burning but everytime i try to data log i get a blue screen also i am using windows vista i just want to know if anyone has a remedy or advice thanks,

like a blue screen of death? or blue screeen like its locked up. more details please. you could have a driver problem?

 

ya it was the blue screen of death i just got off the phone with one of the guys from obd diagnostics we went back through the way vista was installing the drivers and determined vista was using the wrong hardware to run the cable the cable should be in the com and lpt section and it was being placed into some other place so then we just uninstaled the drivers etc and manually put it in so now everything is just peachy so to anyone who will be using vista to tune etc you will want to manually install all your drivers etc.

 

i didnt want to post a new thread so im bringing this back from the dead. im running vista and using tunerpro/scanner pro and it ALWAYS locks up on me and really pisses me off. its running in compatability mode and still does it. i was wondering what drivers i need? im using moates ALDL cable + the ostrich also. thanks
