what tuning method do you recomend?
ok heres my setup
91 chevy 1500 4x4 w/ a 9.1 comp 383, edelbrock performer heads,converted lt1 intake, mild cam (previous owner i dont have exact specs),long tube header, no cat,lt1 fuel pump,36 lb injectors,52mm tb, all running on a sd painless harness w/ a 730 ecm
ok for tuning i have an autoprom /tunerpro and an lc-1 wideband
i have done ve tuning via autoprom before and i have the truck running on a pretty much stock calibration with it corrected for vats,383 cid,no ccm,no egr, and it seems to idle nice (i still have a few small things to do to the truck before i can drive and tune it)
i just got the wideband because i want the majority of the tuning proccess to take weeks and not months (not that i mind making 4 billion corrections to the ve table
i have heard alot of opinions about tuning methods (ie lock blms and tune off of int, tune it in open loop then tune closed loop ) there are a million little ways what method do you recommend for somebody that has a wideband

Get a friend to drive, and pull a trailer! A trailer can act a lot like a dyno, if you use the right gear. Put in a modest spark table, and make sure the knock sensor works, and do VE first (locked BLM but still closed loop is probably faster mentally with emulation and pulling a trailer, because you can calculate the necessary change easier, and changes take effect quicker). Then do some transients at different RPMs, quick and slow, and calibrate them. Get the WOT a little on the rich side via wideband, since you're using a truck (low 12's is fine 11.9-12.3). Then get your PE spark to not knock. Main spark advance is difficult to get 100%, without an engine dyno, so try to keep it smooth (and especially keep it out of knock).
Watch your engine oil and trans oil temps. Hope you have coolers for both, being in a truck.
Your injectors seem a tad large. Guess it depends on the cam. If you can get it to idle with manners, then you're ok.
