NEED HELP WITH MAIN SPARK ADVANCE TABLE
Hi all,
I just got my autoprom and noticed that I have a weird spark table for a truck. I have a 91 K2500 with a fresh rebuilt 350 bored .030 over, mercruiser heads(194/155 valves) ported (same casting # as L98 heads), crane 109821
roller cam, edelbrock dual plane intake with transdapt tbi adapter, stock tbi with tbi mods and afpr, K&N open element air cleaner. The ECU is a 1227747
and I noticed that it has a sticker on it that says "remanafactured by GM
authorized replacement". Would this ecu have better code than the stocker? Here is the table:

Re: NEED HELP WITH MAIN SPARK ADVANCE TABLE
SA table looks normal. Most likely the replacement ECM has the same code as th stock ECM.

Re: NEED HELP WITH MAIN SPARK ADVANCE TABLE
That is possible, was the SA difference an even number such as 10 or 20 degrees?
Once thing that TP can do is to subtract the SA bias value for you. If it doesn't then you have to mentally subtract it as you look at the table. Check out the Tuning Guide Book sticky, the section on the 8063/8746/7747 ECM has a SA article in it. Explains the SA calcs and how it comes about in detail.
