Why so many masks for 92 305 TPI?

http://www.chevythunder.com/prom_bcc_1992.htm

A friend of mine with a factory-stock '92 305 TPI automatic Camaro had to replace his injectors just now. With some advice from me, he put in 24 lb units with the anticipation of sooner or later replacing the 305 with a healthy 350. I told him I could adjust the injector constant in his cal to accomodate this.

Couple of questions:

1.) What's the difference between all of those masks so I can choose the correct one to start with? I don't have the hardware required to read his PROM directly.

2.) Is there anything else in the cal that needs attention in order to allow him to run 24 lb injectors on his 305?

There are only 4 auto's showing, and it has to do with location and gear ratio.

You can't just change the inj. constant and do him justice, the whole program needs attention.

Don, by "do him justice", do you mean to get it running where you can't tell the difference from what it was before?

We're not looking for any kind of performance tuning at the moment. Just that it runs like it did with the 19 lb/hr factory injectors.

Use an AUJP 350 chip and change the injector constant. The 350 chips have better timing and fuel tables than a 305 automatic chip.
What Don means by "do him justice" is just changing the injector constant may not be enough. You may have to change other fuel and timing tables so the car doesnt run rich with the 24lbs injectors.

Use the AUJP 350 calibration, change the injector and cylinder displacement constants.

Hmmm.... sounds like AUJP is the way to go then. However, just changing the injector and displacemnet constants then wouldn't be enough? I'd still need to run around with it and see what the BLM's do?
