IAT sensor added to 8746.
IAT sensor added to 8746.
need some help guys.
added new sensor. i believe it was from a 1992 Camaro used on my above with EBL. I comfirmed 5V to sensor from the ECU. I confirmed a ground wire (MAP-TPS) functional. nothing at the whats up display? This is before and after I changed table % in my .bin (coolant vs IAT) as well as changed flags. I removed sensor applied some heat car and ohmmeter shows no changes as temps rise. i believe it was said it passes current with no resistance per my friend who is heating/ac tech.
What is test procedure on the sensor?

Ice water and boiling water are the easiest ways if your near sea level. Those provide a 32 degree and 212 degree testpoint. You should get the following resistances with temperature with a DVM (see attached). Boiling water will be ~200 Ohms while ice water will be ~10 kOhms.
