which knock sensor?

I swapped out the POS 305 for a .030 350, with the edelbrock MPFI (still trying to get it to run), and have the stock sensor. What tells me which one to use? Is it soley displacement based? I have a re-pinned 7730 with an AUJP memcal.

More requests to come......

Darryl

Wagon

Which cam do you have in your 350??? Knock sensors are also tuned for camshafts - roller vs. flat tapet in addition to displacement.

Re: which knock sensor?

Is there a spread sheet somewhere that shows the different sensors and their applications?

Re: which knock sensor?

Flat tappet, very mild RV. I'm reasonably sure the stock one will be fine. I'm not pushing this thing hard, or even setting it up to where detonation will be a real issue. Its going to be the wifes car, when I'm satisfied enough with its reliability and performance.

It would be interesting to see a spreadsheet, though.

Thanks!
