EBL Q? falls out of CL

i noticed past week once i hit 3000 rpms in 4th gear of 5 at 79 mph i fall out of CL. BLM in CL just before this occurs is 108. this tells me i am possibly beyond the max BLM the bin will allow so it needs to run OL? it appears i cannot datalog(WUP) and tune over 3000 RPMs CL

unfortunately my WB is cooked so am depending on NB feedback. the heated GM NB sensor is just a few days old.

it also suggests that my VE table is very rich 2800 rpms and above. this i dont doubt as when i converted my tune from 7747 pre EBL to EBL i tried to guesstimate the higher RPM VE tables that are present in EBL today.

this may also explain why my engine has difficulty briskly accelerating under load beyond 2500 rpms(ie merging on xway). i pulled a ton of AE out of tune and it seemed to help yet is still an issue as of today. seems i can feel the AE event but as soon as it hits PE(WUP shows) commanded to 12.7/1 the engine struggles and falls on its face. If i accellerate slowly from 30 to 70 all is well as I am in CL.

Help.

Re: EBL Q? falls out of CL

There isn't too much to cause it to drop out of closed loop at that RPM & load. If it is really staying in closed loop and learn is stopped, there is an upper RPM limit threshold.

These values: BLM - RPM learn threshold, define the lower and upper RPM that the engine needs to be within for learn to take place. Once over the upper RPM value BLM learn is stopped, the current BLM value is held, and the INT will still move.

The BLM of 108 is pulling about 16% of the fuel.

So if i never changed that in bin, the stock EBL bin has that parameter in it?

but not in "my" ron.bin as i never changed it ?

would that explain the below issues i am seeing?

i just looked it up. was set at 3600 rpms and i believe i was 3000 when it fell out? i will check my datalog as to what happened before the event. Any other reason why it would do that?

Re: EBL Q? falls out of CL

it fell out of CL at 3500 RPMs and 108 BLM per my log. no AE. NB02 shot up to 800-850 mV. came back into CL at 2850 RPMs and a few secs later BLMs were back to expected 128-132.

so it looks like i need to learn 3600-40 map and up. i just reduced the fuel tables there so will see.

as a side note is see i am at 30-36 SA during event. it looks max SA is 36.
