I want to know...

I've been working more on VE fine tuning...

and I've been wanting to ask how the code handles values in between on say a VE table, such as if the actual value is 34kpa, does it linearly interpolate between 30 and 35 (ie, in thise case 35 kpa cell has more weighting if it is changed).

Or, does it use the 30kpa cell only since value has not reached 35kpa.

I'm not a code reader yet, so thought I'd ask those with experience, maybe its been discussed somewhere in the DIY stickies but I haven't come across it yet.

Thanks,
Ben

Re: I want to know...

That's weird... and the second time it's happened to me.
My TGO setup has html turned off. I've never got with the webmaster to get it fixed. I used my bookmark to open the thread. Copied and pasted the address and it doesn't work. But my bookmark is different from the listed address for the page when it opens?????
Try this from my book marks https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=280086

And look at the address after it opens and compare it to the link posted higher up....

Re: I want to know...

strange, if you click the link it loses "diy-prom/". using copy & paste it opens fine.
clicking your second link opens the page with no problems

Re: I want to know...

Thanks, that got it. That's great info, BTW, and something I was wondering about as well. Although I think it was answered above, I'll guess that the code DOES interpolate between the points on the table to get the "correct" number to use for fuel. The hydraulics software I use works in a similar way. That brings me to something I think I need to ask in that other thread, so I'll try to get my thoughts together and bring that one back from it's long winters nap...
