Need some direction before proceeding

Here's the scenario:

I am installing a TPI 350 w/ a T5 into my RX7. I will need to do some custom prom work to make it work.

I have a MAF setup from an 87 Corvette and a 165 ECM.

Desired results:

Stock 350 tune with VATS disabled

Would I be better off starting with a bin file from a 305 with a manual trans and try to make it work for a 350 (adjust injector sizes) and disable vats OR start with a 350 bin file and disable VATS?

Throughout all the reading I have gotten a little confused on how all of this is going to come together?

Anyone have a good writeup start to finish on something simple like reading the bin, disable VATS, and reburn?

Unfortunately there is no simple write up for most of this stuff. However, you should spend some time reading and rereading the stickies. IMHO, it is always better to start with a stock bin for the correct engine you have, then modify from there (unless you are an old-timer to ecm tuning).

Good luck

Thanks. After much more reading, I think I figured it out. However, I ditched the TPI system due to hood clearance issues and am going with a 4bbl carb setup and a low rise intake.
