305-350 A question on initial PROM settings
Hey guys, I am getting ready to drop in a 350 in place of my 305. I am currently running a 6E setup and the car is running much stronger than the original PROM ran.
I will give some info on the new engine at the bottom of this post. I am wondering if there is anything I should automatically change in my current PROM before even attempting to start the new engine. (Other than the new injector size.)
Or maybe there is a better PROM that one of you could suggest I start with based on these settings. If I remember, my base settings were from an 89 350.
I am throwing on a big mouth manifold, aluminum edelbrock heads, and a cam that is very close to the ZZ4 specs. There will be roughly a 9.5:1 comp ratio. I just don't want to damage anything on that first start up.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
