Idle low compensation in TP
What is it?
Idle low ? does that add advance(3-1 degrees) when the idle drops below commanded idle?
200-150-100-50-0 what do the rpms mean as far as the idle low compensation?
does adding spark help or hinder a busy idle?
would reducing the tables or zeroing out help with an engine that has larger injectors?

Re: Idle low compensation in TP
The idle low & idle high SA compensation is to help stabilize the idle. A stockish engine can use quite a buit of timing change for this. Once an engine starts getting higher compression, hotter cam, etc., then the amount of timing required to stabilize the idle is lessened.
The RPM values in the table is the difference of the desired idle speed vs. the current idle speed. Basically, if the idle speed drops SA is added. If the idle speed increases then SA is removed.
Note that there is also a MAP multiplier table. The SA compensation table value is multiplied by the value at the current MAP. For this table sometimes I'll set it up so that all entries are 100%.
