Tuning Problem (HELP!!)

I'm trying to tune my 92 RS with the TunerProRT Program. My computer is linked to my Romulator........but the romulator isn't uploading the info into my ECM. I've changed my fuel pulses to zero. No change! Car still running (but it shouldn't). (car not in limp home mode) I've tried so much that I'm going crazy. Please can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Re: Tuning Problem (HELP!!)

I use an Ostrich, not a Romulator, but on the Ostrich I have to change some jumper settings to make it work with the TBI computer. Did you do that on the Romulator? How do you have the Romulator hooked up to your car's ECM? Please describe in details so we can try to help.

I guess we are talking about the same thing (Ostrich/Romulator). It's a Moates product. The Rom is connected by removing the chip and using the supplied strip that was hooked up and installed by John at Custom EFIS.
As far as the Laptop to Rom connection that's fine. It's when we try to make changes to the tune the ECM is not getting the info from the ROM. It's not in Limp home mode either. Right now the only way the car will run good enough to idle on its own is thruogh a mail order chip burned by John who tested the Rom and ECM on his own car. Thanks for any info you have on this.
