fuel pressure/Ve tables??
fuel pressure/Ve tables??
Hey another newb question. Just wondering if there is a calculation for a change in fuel pressure and BPW versus Ve tables?? I would assume that since I have increased my fuel pressure and reduced my bpw that i will also have to reduce my ve tables to compensate?? Example- Stock ve is 100 at 90map 3200rpm. Now with my current engine combo and fuel pressure I should probably reduce my ve table to compensate for the additional fuel?? Is that correct?? THanks again for the info

Re: fuel pressure/Ve tables??
The additional injector flow should be able to be handled within the BPW alone if the VE tables are correct. Ive never had to do much other then scale the gms/sec injector constant, the crank PW tables, AE duty cycle tables, O2 proportional gains, and other injector dependant items when I change the injector or the flow. Once the BPW is set to where it should be, you can then go back and make tweaks to the VE table to get the fuel back in line. After that, you can tweak the proportional gains to eliminate the surging you will likely get. Basically, you can start by scaling the proportional gain tables by the change in flow. IOW, if you had 60 PPH of injector flow and now you have 80 PPH, youd scale the O2 gains by .75 to compensate for the increase in flow.

Hey thanks again dimented I just wanted to make sure that im getting the hang of this stuff. Its lots of fun but a little difficult with just a scanner. LOL Thanks again!!
