Would elec fan affect A/F ratio that much?
Greetings, I'm running a RAmJet 350 with a 730 ECM. Yesterday I finished installing an electric fan...which replace a mechanical fan which did NOT have a clutch.
My a/f ratio appears to have changed quite a bit...does that make sense? It appears that I'm going to have to start all over on my tuning now...if that is the case.

Going from the mech to electric fan shouldnt make a huge impact, from the couple I have done.(meaning tune would be fine either way, might notice a little bit of change and that would be all)
However doing one that had a vehicle with marginal electrical system and it was much more apparent.
MAke sure the wiring and alternator are up to snuff and then work from there before u waste time chasing your tail.
If it had a heavy duty clutch or the orig GM(in 100% working) order, u would see a bigger diff as well.

I buffed up the electrical system first. I've got a CS-144 and it maintains voltage just super...I'm quite impressed with it, since I had a 94 amp 12SI before.
I need to figure out my TPS voltage....I'm having problems getting my TunerproRT to connect with the ALDL so I can't get a reading on the computer..I'm pretty sure it's way off now. Any idea how to get a reading off the TPS with digital multimeter? If anyone has an acceptable range of values that would be great also.
