DA2 LT1 Speed density. Running lean in WOT how to richen with Tuner Cat?
DA2 LT1 Speed density. Running lean in WOT how to richen with Tuner Cat?
I have a 93 LT1 where it is running lean at wot from 3000rpm to 5500rpm. I have tunercat, a LM1 wideband and TTS datamaster to log, adjust etc etc, and a Moates Burn1 to burn my chips.
But, how much do I adjust the "% change to fuel/air ratio vs rpm at wot" to get the AFR to richen up .1 % -1 full point as it is going from 13.1 to 14!!!

What are the current multipliers? If the multipliers along with the desired base AFR give you the AFR you want but your going lean, then its some other issue, such as maybe the VEs are off or there is a fuel delivery problem.

Thanks, I am going to start from scratch. New fuel filter, correct fuel pressure. Drive and adjust till the VE table, speed density, are as good as possible, so when it does go into PE enrichment for WOT, it wont adjust due to BLMs being off.

You need to read up on the sticky topics. Much of the TPI computer logic applies to LT1's.

I am doing one step at a time. I will start from the beginning like I said. I did today. A couple of WOT runs and the car is running better at WOT. My fuel pressure was up 4 psi from the 43.5 factory setting, so this may have helped the way it ran. I dont drive it very often, so I need to drive it more, collect more data and fine tune VE tables, then worry about WOT. Idle is very good now, and it idles at 14.2-14.4 AFR, at a steady 825rpm. No hiccups, no hesitation, just smooth. Just want to get the Ve's good so the PE mode is not screwing with the AFR at WOT.
