Need help: 7427 ECM
Need help: 7427 ECM
I'm working on my '94 GMC K2500 truck, 350 TBI and need some help. I'm looking for ECM pinout and BIN file for it. The ECM # is 16197427, BJLF. I've searched the boards and still haven't found what I'm looking for.
Currently the truck is stock, and the clutch fan is shot. I'm working on swapping it over to dual electric radiator fans. I'm trying to find the ECM pinout to determine which ones to hook up for the fan relays. I also need to burn a chip to setup the fan functionality. I've burned chips for TBI and TPI vehicles before. Thanks for the help and have a good one!

Stock the PCM isnt set up to drive radiator fans. It would require that you reprogram it to use an output (or outputs) to turn the fan on and off. If you set up the PCM like a TPI car with one fan on a high temp fan switch, you could use the CPI tuning valve/A/C/overspeed lamp output and replace the tuning valve routine with one to control the fan
