Deleting the narrowband o2 sensor

Running the '730 ecm and tuning by TunerPro RT...I was told to delete the o2 sensor by
8249 bit 6 = Err 13 o2 sensor
824B bit 3 = Err 44 Lean
824B bit 2 = Err 45 Rich
Turn them off, clear your codes and no more light

I want to do this while I'm tuning in open loop and took out the narrowband so that I won't mess it up.

However, I can't find them so I was told I might have to program them in...can anyone do this for me or take a look at my bin. or xdf. files just to make sure I'm not overlooking them. Thanks for the help.

Re: Deleting the narrowband o2 sensor

I just opened up the stock 92gta 350 tpi.bin
using 8d.xdf

I think what you have typed I found under Flags/Switches

8249 bit 6 = Err 13 o2 sensor
824B bit 3 = Err 44 Lean
824B bit 2 = Err 45 Rich

Here is what I see that matches what u typed in.

Switch 249 Error Code Masks (12-22) - Bit 6 - 13
Switch 24B Error Code Masks (36-51) - Bit 3 - 44
Switch 24B Error Code Masks (36-51) - Bit 2 - 45

I am sorry if I am not any help, but I havent dealt with the Flags/Switches before.

Re: Deleting the narrowband o2 sensor

If the switch/flag does not exist in your definition, create it.
Go to the XDF menu and go down to "create a new item"
remember the $8D addressing starts at $8000 so you don't need to enter the 8, just the last 3 will make it correct because the definition is offset by (starts at) $8000 already.

Also if you are not looking at the item summary listing, hit "F7" or select it from the "View" menu.
Sort the list by address. They are all in numeric order so you can see if they actually exist before adding a new entry.
