OK I'm Stumped, suggestions welcome...

I sold my supercharger and I am now N/A again. I undid all of my $58 wiring changes back to $8d. Previously last time I hooked up the aldl I had no problem dataloging with the $58. Now I can not connect...

Here is everything I have checked and done. I am positive that all the wiring canges at the harness are back to where they should be for the 7730. The aldl is on pin 8 as it suppose to be. I am using tunerpro and I have tried 5 different ads files for the 8d 7730. I also have the aldl check sum disabled by uploading 0xAA to 0x08 checked. I am using the two transistor circuit that I have always used. I also built another one just to see if the circuit took a dump and still no go. Interface and com port are set properly.

I still get no aldl connectivity.

Any ideas???

according to my book, it shows to have the data line splitting off & going to E & M for a 90 bird.

I'm pulling directly off the A8 pin not the diagnostic plug.

Are you using an AXXC or AXXD file as a base by any chance ?

Possibly, It has been 3-5 years since I used this bin. is AXXC a manual bin? if so it might be...... How can I verify what the base bin is/was?

Re: OK I'm Stumped, suggestions welcome...

The reason i ask is there's a modified AXXC bin floating around the net with the data control bites changed making it impossible to datalog with that bin. Have you datalogged with your bin in the past? If its been several years since you put that bin to use i don't think my idea is your problem. Just to be sure go to Mike Davis' site and download his posted AXXC bin. Its supposed to be unmodified. You can do a difference check in TunerPro between the two files to see if your file has been modified.

Bingo!!!

Thank you very much.

I downloaded a clean bin from Mike's site and transferred the different values over and it worked. Now all I have to do is add back in the patch for my wide band.

Thanks for your help.

Re: OK I'm Stumped, suggestions welcome...

you may want to check out S_AUJP V4. it has a manual/auto selection in Flags/Constants.
there are other things they added, wideband data logging in the data stream with info on how to mod the ECM, higher resolution extended VE table, & an expanded ADS are some of the changes.
