Cold Map Adder settings?

Just a quick question. With the 7747ecm and $42. THe cold afr setting for O/L and the Cold Map adder. THey are added together during closed loop Correct?? If so the map adder, does that increase the Afr or decrease it numerically?? Example the cold O/L table is set to 13 and the map adder at 60%map is 2. Does that mean that it is trying to run at 11-1 Afr or 15-1 Afr?? Thanks for any help!!! I would assume that when it says that it is added to the C/L Afr that it would make it richer Correct??

Re: Cold Map Adder settings?

Can you post back with the calibration addresses for those parameters? (cold afr setting for O/L and the Cold Map adder). The reason is that people speak of the entries using different names. Which doesn't help in knowing which items you are referring to.

Re: Cold Map Adder settings?

Im sorry RBob but I dont know what the calibration address is?? Im using tunerpro as an editor. Im not all that good with hack's etc. Im at work so I cant post a bin right know. Is there anything else i can do to help with the dialogue?? they are located very close to each other in the tables.

Sorry I meant to say that they are added together during O/l Fuel only. Or at least thats how I understand it in the DIY prom section under 7747 ecms. I beleive that these table's are only used in O/L???

Re: Cold Map Adder settings?

When you get a chance open Tuner Pro and hit the F7 key. This will bring up an Item Summary list. The second column (Location) will be the address. Basically it is the location within the PROM for that item. With that it is an easy matter of just looking at what is at that address to know what is being referred to.

The first column being the item name used in the XDF file.

Re: Cold Map Adder settings?

Ok thanks when i get home tonight I will check that out. But it would make sense to me that the adder table would richen the AFR, Right?? I cant see why when in O/L that it would want to lean out the AFR as the map rises?? The Map adder table starts out with a term of 1 at about 20%map and then increases to 3 at 80%map and slightly lower around 50/60% map. I would think that when in O/L that you would want to add more fuel as Map increased right?? My Cold Afr Ratio's are at about 10/11-1 at -7 and gradually increase to 13-1 at about 35Degrees and stay there all the way up the temp table. Any thoughts??
