Cold Afr?? Tbi

Hey guys just wondering what is a good AFR for a cold engine first start up and after choke has come of?? Just put my WBo2 in and Im getting about 11/12 Afr when cold. But when I puut it into Drive or reverse the Afr will drop to like 10/9 Afr. This will cause it to stall out do to being to rich sometimes. Its a 7747 Tbi $42mask with some mild mods etc. Im just wondering if I should reduce the Cold Map adder table in the higher Map ranges. When in closed loop its fine. I can tell that when at an idle or engaging a higher map it will go pig rich for a second or 2. Any thoughts or help would be great thanks

Re: Cold Afr?? Tbi

With my EBl tbi motor, I had the O/L afr tabl at like 10.2 at the low cts values. I had to up it to high 11's. This worked for me. I have a heated, but the c/l timer is set for like58degree c I think, then it is 14.7.

may try leaning it out a bit and see how it runs. if you go to close to 14.7, it most likely won't like it, as engines like a richer afr while still cold. how much varies from engine to engine though. hope this helps
