AT28c256 instead of AT29c256?
AT28c256 instead of AT29c256?
Hi,
I know the recomended part for an EEPROM is the AT29C256 to use in place of the 27c256 (or 128 in my case) however it seems these chips are not common. Digikey has stock on the AT28C256 which from looking at the datasheet would require a pin 1 and 28 swap but other than that, is this a suitable EEPROM?
Thanks,
