I HAVE A 1991 Z28 W L98 MOTOR?
I AM GETTING THE CHIP BURNER AND CABLE JUST
DON'T KNOW WHICH CHIP TO BUY

your post is so non specific and random. Do a search for the memcal that came with L98's of the year you're trying to use. Then you'll atleast have the code you need and be able to search for source.

NOT SURE WHICH BLANK CHIP TO BUY FOR 1991 L98 CAMARO.

I do not use the BURN 1, I use the pocket programmer for burning my chips. I use 27c256 but that chip requires a UV eraser. The 27c256 should work if you have a UV eraser.

Oh and BTW, there is a button above your left shift key, press it once. The key will have "CapsLk" or something similar on it.

blueridge, sorry bout my first post. Your original post didn't include the info. The others have given you good info. I used the same chips in the past but have since replaced burning chips with a real time emulator and upload/download to that.

I use these, you wont need and UV eraser the BURN1 can erase them.
