27SF512 and 7060 ECM

I can't seem to get this style chip to work. I haven't had luck with it in any TBI or TPI cars I've worked on. Now I'm working on a '93 Vantura with the 7060 ECM.

Burn 1 sets the start to 8000 on it's own as per Moate's info.

When I pulled the bin it was 32k. It read fine with the $85 XDF. Any splitting (thought it was 16k) yeilded improper readings in Tunerpro. I've tried programming the SF with just the 32k bin and stacked it to 64k. Still nothing.

The Atmel 29C256 Chip works Great in everything I've used it in and this aswell. No stacking ,just a saved 32k file from Tunerpro. Van runs great no SES light.

What am I missing?

Thanks
-Paul

Using TunerproRT and a Moates Burn1, I have always just loaded the .bin file to the buffer, then selected chip type 27F512, deleted the chip, black check, program from buffer, then verified it. Never had any issue, other than 1 27F512 that got killed by static electricity before I even got it.

Re: 27SF512 and 7060 ECM

So the 512 chip is stacked the same (or in this case, lack of stacking) as the 256 Chip?
