TF tables
TF tables
Which table(s) will allow me to enrichen the throttle follower following an iac movement? I just added IAC function but issue was there B4.
It seems if I accelerate in 2nd gear of 4(manual) slowly from a standing start(in 1st) with a load on engine(incline) I will see the WB go to 22/1 and unless I down shift or floor it(AE) car will bog badly. Happens every day on ride home at stop sign on somewhat steep incline. If accelerate briskly not a problem. Sometime I cannot as a car ahead of me in line. Is it my cam 224/230 .05 or 7.4L TB that is the issue?
I tried adding more AE at lower TPS% and added accross board on AEMAP but that does not really help. Seems AE just right otherwise.
Or should I add some SA say 1200-1600 rpms 40-70 MAP? Would more SA help?

Re: TF tables
There is a single parameter to add fuel for an IAC opening event. It is under the AE parameters:
AE - IAC Opening Fuel
As the IAC opens this PW amount is added to the fueling.
For others reading this note that this parameter is common on TBI setups. Both the '7747 and '8746 have this same parameter. It can also be used as a secondary AE function. However, this depends upon how much throttle follower is being used in the calibration.

Re: TF tables
Just to add, Using $8D I have found the TF setting can have more effect on AE than the actual AE settings when going rich at TPS increase (most have the opposite problem)
I tried for quite a while to get rid of a rich spot at TPS movement and couldn't get it to come into line. Most of the time I'd go to 10:1 or worse when accellerating then it would taper off back to where I wanted it but the initial AE hit was way too much.
Changing the TF settings made a good difference in the reaction when watching the WB response. I am running a 52mm TB BTW.
Seems to be two ways to skin this one, take out AE or give more IAC flow.
Somewhere in the midst of that is a nice point of balance.
