Looking for a stock .bin-file of an 91´Firebird 305 cui V8 TBI with TH700R4.

My present eprom is a 1124 out of a manual tranny car (ECM AXKW 1228746) . Would like to convert to automatic tranny.

IIRC, AWKS is a 5.0/Automatic calibration for an 8746 ecm. It may have been from a B-car, but it is what I started the calibration for my Van with, when it was still a stock carb 305 converted to TBI.

 

You need either AXKT (federal emissions) or AXKS (California emissions). Both are the latest calibrations from GM for your vehicle.

I would stay away from the California calibration, EVEN if you live in CA. They are richer and have less timing, what that means is less power and lower fuel economy.

Edit- Just saw you were in Europe so the CA thing is not an issue.

Follow the instructions to log-in and go to stock binaries. Then enter DIY-EFI Stock binaries. Look for your ECM/PCM number. It should be 1228746 and $61 code. Look under L03 and you should find your target.

I definately would not work with that calibration stock. It dumps in WAY too much fuel and is a little short on timing. It needs help. There are 20-30 horses begging to be released out of the stock engine with tuning.

 

Ok, should be no problem.

Our member "88´Trans AM" will give me an helping hand. He´s got the hardware and the software to change the calibration data.
The only missing thing was the bin.
