ALDL Connection Problem....

Ok, I'm still pretty new to the DIY PROM world, but I cant get my autoprom to connect to my Iroc using the ALDL cable. I'm using tunerpro RT, with the .ads file and .xdf file that tunerpro lists on their website for a 93 LT1 engine, but it says that the xdf and ads files do not match, and will not connect to the ecm. Is there something I'm doing wrong here, or do I just need a different file. Sorry if I left off any important info here, still new the the game. Thanks!!!

So, is there nobody on this site that can shed some light on this, or is everyone ignoring me?

I'm learning right now to (ostrich 2.0 though) but your ads. and xdf. has to match your bin file your using. You can get the files from www.moates.net or try posting your bin on here to see if someone is using the same.

Re: ALDL Connection Problem....

I'm using the xdf and ads file that tunerpro has listed on their site for a 92-93 LT1 ecm, but the software says they mismatch. The ecm is 16159278 and the xdf file is DA3 with the ads file that the website has to match this file for the ecm. For some reason the program says mismatched xdf and ads file everytime I open it. Just wondering if I'm the only one who has had this problem, or if there is something I'm doing wrong here? Thanks for any info on this! I need to read my parameters so I can find out what is wrong with the way the car is running.
