Data Master VS my com port settings, help appreciated

Engine: Bottle fed L98
Transmission: ZF 6 speed
Axle/Gears: D44 IRS/3.92
Data Master VS my com port settings, help appreciated
When I try to set the com port for data master, the only port option that isn't greyed out is com 3 for some reason. My ALDL cable is plugged into com 10 or 11 depending on which port I plug it into on my laptop. Any suggestions?

Go to device manager ->Expand Ports -> USB COM Port-> right click ->click properties ->click port settings tab ->click Advanced ->change Com Port number to com 3.
