Checksum error while saving Bin...

"1991 Camero 4x4 3/4 ton" - I just understood rule #7 - see my name here.
383, Holley TBI, LT1 cam, headers,...
Autoprom with Tunerpro RT
Currently running with a TBIChips chip that runs OK but fairly rich.
I have read and learned a ton here and still steep on the learning curve.
I have used the Autoprom to read the TBIChip as well as the stock chip. When first reading the chips I had the wrong chip selected and got a bunch of meaningles tables etc. I seemed to get the right setting (using FlashBurn software) as the tables seem correct now.
I am working on my first Bin. When I try to save the Bin I get the following error:
"Error - One or more checksums could not be updated. Check checksum addressing, etc, for validity."
I have spent the past 2-3 hours (at work) searching for a solution and can not find anything.
Could anyone please give me some guidance? I get the same error even if I try to "save" the stock Bin.
Did I read the chips wrong? I can not seem to find any details on Checksum addressing etc.
thanks much!
Keith

Re: Checksum error while saving Bin...
I found one problem:
When coppying my bin using flash and burn and the autoprom the file size is comming out at 30kb.
Any ideas?
thanks much

Re: Checksum error while saving Bin...
I found my solution in Tunerpro: At first I could not find out how to copy the chip in Tunerpro. I was trying to read it using the emulator read to file. I then switched to "Flash and Burn" and was able to read the memcal, but it was only coming in as a 30kb file. After playing around for quite a while I found the proper way to read the chip in Tunerpro. All is now good and I am planning on running my first bin this weekend.
While I did not get any responses to my initial question here I am more satisfied that I was able to continue to research on these boards and find my own solution.
Again, Thanks for the great content and thanks for putting up with this truck guy (who did drive a Firebird for a while).

Re: Checksum error while saving Bin...
I was checking some items with the '7060 and you should end up with a 32KB file. Windows doesn't always give the exact file size, and at other times uses 1024 bytes as 1KB. So things are not always what they seem to be.
It is good that you got it. Note that other PCMs have a 64KB BIN, so I wanted to be sure before responding.
Best bet is to start with a virgin BIN, no changes by anyone else. That is one heavy Camaro too...
