HELP!!! EBL FLASH WONT FLASH
I finally got the WUD to display when i push the throttle and the little clock thing in the right top hand is spinning telling me i am getting info.
Now when i try to flash a .BIN to the EBL it times out.
What am i doing wrong and why isnt this working?
i am using the 1006.bin and think i changed everything to my needs.
My specs are 383ci, brodix heads 2.02/1.60, 1.5:1 RR, and somewhere around 515 lift. I have the port mod done also. What .bin do you think i should use or is the 1006 ok to start with?
please help, i am about to sell the thing.

Re: HELP!!! EBL FLASH WONT FLASH
Sounds like you may be using a USB to Serial adapter cable. The fact that the SES does a blink after the WUD flashing times out means that there is communication. It is the ECM going through a reset.
Let me know if you aren't using a USB/serial adapter cable. If you are need to find out which chip set is in the cable. Can usually find the name from the driver files.
If it is a Prolific chipset may be able to get it to work. Need to play with the FIFO buffer settings in the driver dialog. This chipset doesn't always work on every laptop/PC.
If the USB/serial cable is using the FTDI chipset then just need to lower the latency setting. It usually defaults to 16 at install, lowering it to 10 does the trick.
RBob.

Re: HELP!!! EBL FLASH WONT FLASH
I did get it to work thanks to Rbob.
i had to set the FIFO (first in first out) lower then what it was when installed. i also set the baud rate lower then the 9600. i believe i set it at 4800. now it seems to work pretty well.
we will see if the problems come back.
Thanks Rbob
