AKXY vs. AMU
Is there a difference?
I've been playing around with an 87 TA 350 TPI and found that the ECM itself took a dump.
I replaced it with an ECM that has the AKXY calpak in it. But now I have no odometer. Digital Dash. Could this be a difference or possibly something else?

Re: AKXY vs. AMU
If the ECM's are the same, can you remove and swap the calpaks. That way you have the original calpak in the replacement ECM.

Re: AKXY vs. AMU
I'll be giving that a shot later today.
The odo is down and my speedo is now in KM/H.
Gotta finish bisseling out the mouse pee first.

Re: AKXY vs. AMU
Found out that the AMU is for a 5.0L. So i'm using both the AKXY and the replacement ECM. The ECM took care of the communication issues.
Also found in a search that the courtesy fuse kills the odometer and puts the speedo in KM/H.
I wish I would've known that before I started troubleshooting a non issue.
