CAN TUNER PRO DOWNLOAD MY BIN FILE RIGHT FROM THE DIAG PORT
I cannot find info on this but was hoping we can use Tunerpro to prompt the ECU to send the entire BIN file out for saving without having a chip burner. Would like to first make sure we have what we need to do this before buying the hardware to do so. Is this possible?
Also, with the mask loaded, will this allow proper display of the dashboard or will I need to create some other file for this. I do have the proper XDF file.

No, on OBD1 ECMs, it is not possible to download the bin file through the ALDL port.
Exceptions include ECMS with aftermarket modifications, such as ones that use the NVRAM. This would also have a modified bin for fo use with the NVRAM.
You will need a programmer to read the original bin file.
